IMPORTANT TIP #1:
For a lighter version of the Royal Day & Night Cream, mist three pumps of the Gold Citrus Mist into two pumps of the Royal Day & Night Cream. This will not change the power of the formula; it only makes for a thinner version, perfect for oily/acne skin types who want a rich cream.
IMPORTANT TIP #2:
Ice pimples with a green tea ice cube for 10 minutes, three times a day, especially cystic acne; it does wonders! If you have only a mild case of acne try to ice the troubled spots at least once a day. Make sure to follow with the serums and moisturizers, because icing can create a drying effect. Green tea ice cubes penetrate powerful antioxidants into the skin, which help fight acne.
WEEKLY FACIAL: SATURDAY P.M.
The Golden Enzymes may be too rich for some oily skin types; therefore, we recommend exfoliating with the Cell Salt Detox and Diamond Cell Salt Polish.
- Cleanse the skin with Gold Citrus Cleanse
- Followed by Diamond Cell Salt Polish
- Apply the Cell Salt Detox for 3-5 minutes
- Wash off with Gold Citrus Cleanse
- Apply Royal Day & Night Cream
If your skin starts to feel dry, discontinue facial option for approximately one week. Your oil production will slow down, so pay attention to your skin and don’t over-exfoliate, a common mistake made by most with oily skin. If you start to feel dry, increase the combination of using Liquid Gold Peptides and Heart of Gold Elixir both morning and night until skin is balanced again.
Make sure to follow up with a non-toxic physical sunblock of your choice each morning (i.e. zinc oxide).
It’s important for those with all acne skin types to take things like DMAE, a powerful anti-inflammatory, in combination with alpha-lipoic acid. Glutathione is also a powerful antioxidant found in all our cells and is made up of three amino acids, cysteine, glycine and glutamic acid, making it a tripeptide essential in restoring our cells at the dermal level. This is extremely important when dealing with acne because scarring occurs deep within the dermis.
Other antioxidants such as vitamin A, C, E, and CoQ10 assist in protecting the internal healing of the skin cells. Probiotics are one of the most important things you can take. They help restore the gut and colon with good bacteria. Detoxing internally is vital as well; herbs such as burdock root and chaparral help flush toxins from the body. Finally, essential fatty acids are vital when dealing with acne (Omega 3-6-9), as they act as important regulators of cell membrane integrity, allowing for proper absorption of other nutrients and help balance the hormones.
Another internal element needed for acne is green tea extract, which is a powerful antioxidant, even more powerful than vitamin E. And don’t forget regular exercise to stimulate the metabolism, combined with eating more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, which go a long way toward regenerating the skin. Along with getting plenty of phytonutrients (green leafy vegetables), antioxidants A, C, E, essential fatty acids, and remember to concentrate on a healthy lifestyle; avoid smoking, excessive medications, and get plenty of outdoor activities to help recharge your internal batteries.
